Course information

The Sutton Coldfield course takes a scenic route through the very popular Sutton Park with a mixture of terrain including woodland paths and grassed areas. There are some flat and hilly areas within the course.

Meeting point

The meeting point is the Jamboree Statue in the park’s main event arena.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll  be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.

Car parking is available at the venue using Streetly Gate Entrance. Please be advised the event parking is approximately 1 mile down the drive so please keep going until you see the stewards who will direct you into the event parking field. We advise you arrived at least 30 – 40 minutes before you start time to allow ample time to park you vehicle and walk to the start line.

Car parking and the main event site are both on grass and in poor weather may affect the suitabilty for disabled access.

The venue impose parking charges after 11am all event parking prior to this time will not be charged. Please note this is subject to change.

Parking

The course is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance. The course makes use of the main tarmacked paths within the park. There are sections that vary in gradients which are suitable for wheelchair users but we recommend having assistance.

Supporter / spectator access

Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell.  They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
