Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Meeting point

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll  be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed. 

The start line is on the showground next to the adventure playground.

The nearest station is Knutsford, situated half a mile from the Knutsford Entrance to Tatton Park. It is a further 30 minute walk down the estate drive to the start line.

Local bus services are available to Knutsford including the number 27 from Macclesfield and 288 from Altrincham via Wilmslow.

Parking is free to all participants.

Course information

The Tatton Park Pretty Muddy 5k route takes a scenic course through the beautiful park. A course which is hilly in parts and features a mix of terrain with roads, woodland footpaths and grass, it gives some stunning views of the park and the Hall. Combining a great location with fun obstacles, its definitely an event that shouldn't be missed.

Due to the nature of the obstacles and the undulating terrain this course is not suitable for wheelchair users

Supporter / spectator access

Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell.  They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course! 

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
