Course information

This course is a single lap 10K.

It starts on Marine Terrace heading towards the Pier, then heading towards the RNLI Lifeboat Station. The course then follows the national cycle path from Quay road to the cricket grounds. The course then returns down the cycle path to S Marine Terrace to return back to the finish line outside the bandstand after doing a Uturn at the bottom of Consitution Hill.

Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Meeting point

The start line is on the Promenade along Marine Terrace, outside the Bandstand. Please make your way to this event via Terrace Road.

The following roads will be closed as part of the event: Victoria Terrace, Marine Terrace, Riverside Terrace and New Promenade, King Street, Terrace Road and South Marine Terrace. Please bear this in mind when planning your route and parking.

There is no official parking, so please park in town centre car parks and walk to the start.

Car sharing or public transport is advisable. The start is just a short walk from the town centre car parks & stations.

The event site and route is hard standing. The majority of the route is flat with two slopes. Accessible for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
