The Southampton 10k Race for Life route starts on the main area of The Common, opposite the playground. It follows the tree lined paths of The Common, follows Cemetry Road and returns to the The Common to finish.
The 10k route is a double lap of the 5k. The surface is relatively flat and on tarmac throughout so is lovely and gentle.
Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.
The meeting point is Southampton Common, opposite the playground.

There is no parking at the event on The Common. Please use public transport where possible or city centre car parks.

The Southampton course is mainly on tarmac paths or roads around The Common. The 10k will finish on the grass of The Common. Due to these elements we deem the route as suitable for wheelchair users with assistance.
There is no allocated drop off points but all roads around The Common are accessible during the event. Only Cemetry Road is closed including the car park there.
