Distance: 5k
The 5k course is a flat single lap route taking in both The Knavesmire and the perimeter track of The Racecourse. The terrain is a mixture of grass and tarmac pathways. Due to the course being partly on grass, it may be slightly muddy underfoot depending on recent weather conditions.
Please bring a reusable water bottle with you if you require water during the event, as there will only be water available at the finish.
Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.
The meeting point and start line is on The Knavesmire, nearby The Racecourse. The finish line will also be within the similar vacinity.

Parking is available free of charge for this event at The Knavesmire. Disabled parking spaces will also be available.
On the day signage will direct you the the event car park. Please avoid parking on resdiential roads surrounding the venue.
The nearest train station is York and the city centre is 1.5miles away. There is a regular bus service from the centre to the venue.

We would recommend that this event is wheelchair accessible with assistance.
The course and event site is mainly on grass with some paths. The route is flat throughout.
Due to the time of year the event is taking place, the grass may become boggy in poor weather conditions.
The venue is accessible from most entrances with disabled parking available at event car park on The Knavesmire.
