Course information

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

The course goes through the Italian Gardens and then follows the path around the lake and through the woodland area before finishing back in the event site. The course is on a mixture of terrains, and is fairly flat, however there is one steep hill and a small section through the woodland. The event is wheelchair friendly but assistance will be needed.

Please arrive 30 to 45 mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time

The start line is in the large event area behind the barefoot trail - directional signage will be put up from the entrance to the gardens.

Parking is available at the venue. It is a 15 minute walk from the car park to the start line. Please allow  30 to 45 mins from arrival at the entrance of the gardens to the start of your event/wave to accommodate admittance into the venue and walk to the event site.

This course is suitable to wheelchair users with assistance due to a small incline near 3k on the course.

Please note that disabled car parking is available within the main car park. It is a 15 minute walk from the car park to the start line. Please allow 45 mins from arrival at the entrance of the gardens to the start of your event/wave to accommodate admittance into the venue and walk to the event site.

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single use plastic bottles.
