Race for Life Pretty Muddy is our brilliant 5k muddy obstacle course. Scramble over the A-frame. Crawl through the mud pit. Have fun with your friends. And raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Distance: Pretty Muddy 5k
The Crawley course takes you on a journey through Tilgate Park. The route includes paths through the woodland and around the Lake. The majority of the route is on pathways or road with a few woodland paths to negotiate. With local supporters cheering you on, you are sure to have a great experience.
Please arrive 15 to 20minis before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.
The start line is located on the grass between the Play park and Tilgate Lake.

Please use public transport where possible. There is limited parking available for this event in Gainsborough Field which is a short walk away from the main event site. Please note, you will be unable to drive through Tilgate park. For access to the parking please use Titmus Drive via Ashdown Drive where you will be directed by stewards.
We are no longer operating a park and ride service from the town centre, please see the metrobus website for local bus service options.
Please bring a change of clothes for your journey home, or a bin bag to sit on.
Designated cycle parking - there are 2 sets of cycle racks: 1 set with about 19 racks by the Smith and Western Pub and the other rack is set just past the coach parking with 10 racks.

Due to the nature of this event it is not suitable for wheelchair users.
