Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.
There is no event parking available at the venue, but there is limited roadside parking available on Town Moor Avenue and Bennetthorpe.
Disabled access and drop off point would be recommended at the lay-by on Thorne Road.
The nearest train station is Doncaster Rail Station and there are a number of buses that run along Thorne Road, Town Moor Avenue and Bennetthorpe - all of which are accessible to Town Fields.
We would recommend that this event is wheelchair accessible with assistance. The course and event site is all on grass, mostly flat with the occasional slight incline so those with accessibility issues may require assistance on the uneven surfaces. However, the grass may become boggy in poor weather conditions, so an alternative shorter laps on the paths may be taken on the day if the grounds are unsuitable.
The venue is accessible from most entrances, however disabled parking would be recommended at the lay-by on Thorne Road or along Town Moor Avenue.
If you require any further information on the accessibility of a Race for Life event, or wish to bring a carer/helper to accompany you, please contact our Supporter Hotline on 0300 123 0770 and press 1 when prompted (Opening hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday) or email us at raceforlife@cancer.org.uk
