The St Albans route is an amazing journey through a piece of history. Hilly in places and fairly challenging, we set off by Westminster Lodge before traversing the open fields, enjoying splendid views of the Abbey. The 10k course is two laps of the 5k route.
There will one water station on the course, at around 5km, and one at the finish line. Please bring your own bottle if you feel you will need more than this.
Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
The start line is in the field next to Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre.
If using what3words, enter ///neat.lies.tone in the free app, to find the exact starting point.
Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.
If you are arriving by car, you will not be allowed to use the car parks located within Verulamium Park. We recommend that you use the multi-storey car parks in St Albans city centre which are just a short walk away from the park itself.
Please be aware that parking charges apply on Sundays. For more information, please visit the St Albans Council car parks website:
STRICTLY NO PARKING ON A4147 - BLUEHOUSE HILL AND HEMEL HEMPSTEAD ROAD (near the Museum).
