The Nottingham Victoria Embankment route is on the historic Victoria Embankment, which is just a stone’s throw away from the city centre. With its picturesque setting beside the River Trent, participants will enjoy the flat route with a mixture of terrains, perfect for all abilities to walk, jog or run.
Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

The start line is within the sports field, just off Wilford Grove on Victoria Embankment.

There is free parking on the sports field for all participants, the entrance to the parking location can be found off Bathley Street, there is then a short walk to the event site. Please follow event signs and stewards. Please DO NOT park along Victoria Embankment, as this forms part of the course, and you will not be able to remove your vehicle until the race is complete.

The nearest station is Nottingham, which is a 25 minute walk to the event.
There are also many bus routes passing Victoria Embankment.

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.
Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single use plastic bottles.
