Parking is available on site free of charge for participants. There is capacity for approximately 400 cars on site. If the venue carpark is full, plase use the Time Square carpark which is 1 mile from the event venue, the postcode for this is WA1 2HN. We also hope to secure an additional overflow carpark nearer to the venue. If this is secured, the stewards will direct you to that carpark on the day.
The following buses run directly outside Victoria Park: 1 (Bruche), 1C, 1E (Westy), 11, 11A (Wilderspool), 47 (High Legh) 47 (Howley)
Warrington Train Station is approx. 25-minute walk from Victoria Park
Although the course is flat and smooth, more than half of the route is on grass and wet weather would make the use of a wheelchair or pushchair difficult. We would recommed that you make a decison based on your own ability if the course is suitable for you. Our official recommendation is that the event is not suitable for wheelchair users.
The event site is in the middle of grass playing fields, and in wet weather it could be difficult for spectators to access the start / finish lines. Blue badge parking and disabled portaloos are provided at this venue.

Bring a water bottle
We’re trying to reduce single-use plastic at Race for Life. Please bring your own reusable water bottle, already filled. We'll provide an ecofriendly water-refill station at the finish that uses as little single-use plastic as possible.
Have the right kit
It’s a good idea to check the weather before your event and dress accordingly. Think breathable sports gear (leggings and shorts are ideal) and well-fitting trainers. For Pretty Muddy, wear something you don’t mind getting dirty.
Check out the latest range of Race for Life clothing and accessories in our online shop.
Be sun smart
Stay sun safe by finding shade when you’re not on the course and covering up with clothes, a hat and sunglasses. On parts you can’t cover, use sunscreen with at least SPF15 and a 4 or 5 star rating. Find out more about being sun smart.
Your back sign and race number
Remember to bring your back sign and Race number which will be sent to you in the post – don’t forget safety pins so you can attach them to you.
