The Wolverhampton route starts and finishes in West Park. The double lap course follows many of the tarmac paths, passing the bandstand, boating lake, the conservatory and the play area. The course is run on tarmac paths and is mainly flat, but there are some inclines. It is an interesting course with a fun atmosphere.

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

The start line is in the main event arena within West Park, close to Southgate and the Tea Rooms.

There is very limited parking space around the venue so please use City Centre car parks. If parking on the roads please ensure you are aware of any restrictions that may be applied. 

A limited number of disabled parking bays can be found around the outside of West Park. The event site and route to it are all on hardstanding ground.

The course is a double lap and it can get conjested at times. There is a slight incline on the course  where some wheelchair users may need assistance.

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single use plastic bottles.
