Course information

This course travels around the scenic and lively Willen Lake pathways, taking in grass and woodland areas. There is plenty of variety and beautiful views around the course.

Please bring a reuasable water bottle if you require water during the event, as water will only be available at the finish.

Remember to bring a towel and change of clothes for the way home!

Meeting point

The meeting point is on the grass between the splash park and One4Six cafe.

There will be free parking for participants in Newlands, across Brickhill Street - just a few minute's walk from the start area. Please follow the temporary yellow signage to this event car park and then the footpath signs which will lead you to the event site. If this car park fills up, there will be space to park in the Willen Lake car parks, but please be aware that normal parking charges will apply.

Please car share where possible and consider using public transport.

Whilst this event is not accessible for wheelchair users given the nature of the obstacles, the event site is accessible for spectators with wheelchairs. There are blue badge holder parking spaces available in Willen Lake car park (charges apply) and the north bay car park is only around 100m from the start/finish area. If the grass is boggy from wet weather, there are paths all around the outside of the event site.

Supporter / spectator access

Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. They can stroll around the stalls, soak up the amazing atmosphere and cheer you on as you clamber over obstacles and cross the finish line!
