Course information

The Worcester 10k Race for Life route starts in the middle of the racecourse, in Pitchcroft field. The course is combination of pathways and grass that is flat. The 10k route is a double lap of the 5k.

Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

 

Meeting point

The start and finish line is in Pitchcroft field, which is in the middle of the racecourse grounds. When planning your journey to the event please allow an extra 10 minutes to get to the start area once you have arrived at the racecourse.

Please use city centre car parks or public transport for the event. There will be no event parking at Worcester Racecourse, however there are plenty of public car parks near within walking distance in the city. You can find out more by visiting the Worcester City Council website.

Please be aware that the nearest car parks to the racecourse will fill up quickly and therefore you may be required to park further away from the venue than expected. Please plan appropriately for your parking and walking time to the event.

This event is deemed suitable for wheelchairs with assistance.  Assistance is required due to the nature of the terrain. The event site and part of the course are on grass and this can become boggy in to poor weather conditions. there are some uneven paths, however most are relatively flat.

There is blue badge holder parking available in Croft Road Car Park. The event site is approximately 500m from this car park.
