Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.

Meeting point

The start and finish line is in Pitchcroft field, which is in the middle of the racecourse grounds. When planning your journey to the event please allow an extra 5 minutes to get to the start area once you have arrived at the racecourse.  Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

There will be no event car parking for this event due to its location.

We recommend car sharing and using public transport to get yourself to and from the event.

Pitchcroft car park has limited space and we recommend to use alternative alreas to avoid disappointment. This is the main entrance/exit for emergency services and suppliers and we want to avoid congestion at all times.

Course information

The Worcester Pretty Muddy Kids course begins from the middle of the racecourse, circles the inside of the race track and then joins the path along the outside perimeter of the race track and the river. It then passes the grandstand and heads back towards the finish.

The Pretty Muddy Kids route is the same as the Pretty Muddy adults event. A parent or guardian are required to take part with children for Pretty Muddy Kids and stay with them throughout the course where possible. 1 adult can take part with up to 3 children. Adults must run alongside children, but not go on the obstacles themselves. Accompanying adults are required to wear the same running number as their children for safety reasons.

Due to the nature of Pretty Muddy, this event is deemed not accessible for wheelchair or pushchair users.

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single-use plastic bottles.
