There is parking available at the Devonshire Walks Car park, just across the road from the start line in Bitts Park. Please note, this is a pay and display car park.
Please use the ‘Plan a Journey’ pages of cumbria.gov.uk to plan your journey.
The Carlisle course is predominantly flat all the way round, mostly running on smooth paths and grass, with a short section of woodland trails. You will run around the newly renovated Sheepmount Stadium before heading back into woodlands and the gardens of Bitts Park.
There are a mixture of obstacles along the way including inflatables, climbing, crawling and mud!
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
Remember to bring a towel and change of clothes for the way home!
Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
Unfortunately Pretty Muddy is not suitable for wheelchair users due to the nature of the event as an obstacle run.
