How to find Stithians Showground

Take Falmouth road out of Truro. Go past mini-roundabouts at Playing Place to large roundabout at beginning of Carnon Downs. Leave main road and go through Carnon Downs village following signs to Perranwell. There is a dogleg in the middle but just follow the road around.

Through Perranwell and on up the hill until you come to a five crossroads (Pelean Cross) a mile or so out of the village. This is the main Redruth/Falmouth road. Stithians is signposted straight over.

Come up the hill, past the Showground on the left. Almost at the top of this hill, you will see the entrance to the Showground.

Alternatively following A30 towards Redruth, cross Chiverton roundabout (other roads go to St. Agnes, Truro and Newquay). Take next exit to Scorrier. After a short distance, turn left in front of Crossroads Hotel. At junction go straight across, through Carharrack and along to next junction at Comford below Lanner. Turn left towards Falmouth. Two miles or so and you will come to Pelean Cross turn right and up hill to Showground on left.

The 36 bus stops outside the Stithians Showground entrance, on a route between Helston and Truro. See Transport for Cornwall for further details of bus services.
