Course information

The Fife course is a double lap meandering through the woodlands of Beveridge Park, passing by the boating lake and the sweet-smelling Rose Garden.  The course is mainly run on paths and grass and can be steep at times. The main event site is on grass so may be slightly muddy underfoot depending on recent weather.

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. There will be a water refill station 1/2 around the course and a ScottishPower water refill station will be available to use at the finish.

Please arrive 30 to 45 mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Our courses have been measured with a measuring wheel. This is the most accurate measurement method and may not always correspond with digital tracking apps and watches.

Meeting point

The start line is within Beveridge Park, on the field adjacent to Kirkcaldy Rugby Club. The nearest entrance of the park to the start line is on Abbotshall Road.

If using what3words, enter ///fence.meal.fortunate in the free app, to find the exact starting point.

No event parking is available. The start line is approximately a 20 minute walk from Kirkcaldy town centre and a 15 minute walk from Kirkcaldy train station. There are a number of bus services that stop just a short walk from Beveridge Park. Please use the Traveline Scotland website to plan your journey.

We recommend this event as suitable for wheelchair users with assistance. The majority of the course uses the perimeter park path however some sections are on uneven grass with some inclines, which could make conditions difficult in bad weather. The course can be adapted by keeping to the perimeter path of the park however this will significantly reduce the distance.
