The original and most popular Race for Life event, the 5k is an entry-level distance and an achievable first challenge for most. At just over 3 miles it can take about an hour to complete on average, but there's no pressure to finish in a certain time. Course information

The Llanelli route further explores the Millennium Coastal Path with stunning views of the Welsh coastline. A fantastic atmosphere and long flat course mainly on paved ground makes for an unforgettable event for participants and supporters alike.

The course begins in the middle of the amphitheatre and turns left to follow the coastal path heading to St. Eli's Bay. Here the course turns infront of the apartments to make way around Sandy Water Park and back towards the finish. The whole 5K course has a total ascent of 26m.

There will not be any water refill stations along the course so if you require water during the event, please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle already filled up. A ScottishPower water refill station will be available to use at the finish.

Please arrive 30 to 45 mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
