Join us for a Race for Life 5k
No matter how cancer affects us, life is worth Racing for.
-
The 5k is a good first challenge for most people.
-
5k is just over 3 miles and can take about an hour to complete on average, but there's no pressure to finish in a certain time. The one thing we’re beating is cancer.
-
Go at your own pace and help fund life-saving cancer research.

Whatever you do, however far you go, you’re helping to beat cancer.
Warm up with other Race for Lifers. Shake off any pre-race nerves and get moving with our fun warm-up session just before your event.
Supporters and spectators welcome. Bring along as many supporters as you like to cheer you on! We’ve got things for everyone to do, check out the Location section of your event page to see what’s happening on the day.
Soak up the atmosphere. After you've completed the course, stay on and celebrate with other participants, friends and family with a picnic in the park.
5 kilometres is just over 3 miles and on average takes around an hour to complete dependant on ability.
Our courses are measured using measuring wheels by our team of experienced Event Managers. Measuring wheels are the most accurate way of measuring course distances as they are not impacted by surrounding buildings or terrain, this is why the distance may be different from Garmin, Strava, Apple Watch & Fitbit technology.
